2024 Dux Named - News - Rongotai College
Rongotai College's 97th Annual Prizegiving was held on Thursday 12 December, 2024. The last major award of the night is the Arthur Jamieson Prize for the Dux of the School. The Dux of Rongotai College was Rico Taylor.
Rico is an outstanding scholar, and was our Academic Prefect in 2024. He was 1st in Calculus, Statistics and Physics and 1st= in Chemistry. He was also awarded the Hyslop Memorial Prize for Excellence in Year 13 Sciences at Prizegiving
Not only is Rico an outstanding scholar, he is also a top sportsman, having represented Rongotai College in both 1st XI Cricket and 1st XI Hockey for a number of years!
Rico will be studying Physics at the University of Otago in 2025. Congratulations on your hard work Rico, and all the best for the future!
