Course Selection

Supporting your son with his Course Selection

Throughout a student’s time at the College, his dean, form teacher and subject teachers will provide guidance and advice to help him make informed course choices. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to be part of this process and, if they have any questions or concerns about course options, should contact their son’s dean in the first instance.

An important stage in course selection occurs at the end of Year 10, when students choose their subjects for Year 11. Careful consideration should be given to these choices to ensure they support future subject options in Years 12 and 13, as well as the student’s longer-term goals for tertiary study, training or employment.
