The Rongotai Music Department recently held its annual Music Performance Night in the Renner Hall.
This is an opportunity for Music students to perform to a large audience, and to have some of their performances recorded as part of the NCEA assessment process.
It was a stellar occasion, with a large number of boys performing a huge range of music genres and types across a full programme. There were a number of outstanding solo and group performances, and the audience were totally impressed by the versatility of boys who played multiple instruments on the night with a high level of expertise!
The hall was set out cabaret-style, with our Food and Hospitality Teacher, Chef Mr Chambers and his Kaimahi Food Club team providing great kai! Ka pai!
Well done to the boys (and girl) and to our wonderful Music Department staff. Congratulations Mr Crayford and team!
