Social Action Day

Well done to the more than 130 Year 9 students who participated in this year’s Social Action Day. We have received many positive messages from the organisations we worked alongside, praising the way students conducted themselves during the day and how hard they worked.

‘Social Action Day’, which has all Year 9 students working in the local community for the good of others, has become an annual event. This outreach to the local community continues to be a big part of our Community Service programme. This year, boys undertook a range of activities, such as helping out at EBIS, helping the Cat Protection League, graffiti-removal and maintaining and upgrading mountain bike and walking tracks across Eastern and Southern Wellington. ‘Sharing is Caring’, putting together care packages in conjunction with the Salvation Army, was again an activity our students were involved in.
