School Start Date 2022

On Monday 31 January, our Powhiri for all new students to Rongotai College (including all Year 9 students) will still occur at 9am but with COVID restrictions.  These restrictions include:

  • The Powhiri will be held outside
  • All those in attendance (students and staff) will wear masks
  • NO Year 10, 11 or 12 students will attend
  • Year 13 students WILL also attend
  • Parents will NOT be able to attend the event is for students only.

Year 10, 11 and 12 students will NOT be expected to attend school on Monday 31 January.

All students are to attend on Tuesday 1 February and report to Form Rooms for the start of school at 8.55am in full, correct school uniform and clean-shaven plus face mask.
