NCEA external exams began on Monday 22 November with Level 2 Physics. Exams will continue through to 14 December.
Due to COVID restrictions, Senior Prizegiving was held on 12 November as a live-streamed event from the Renner Hall. Year 11, 12 and 13 students were in attendance, with Year 9 and 10 students watching the live-stream from their form rooms. Congratulations to James Sutton who was named the Dux of Rongotai College for 2021.
At the recent Sports Awards Assembly Harry Hall-Gray was named the Maori Sportsperson of the Year for 2021. Harry has been very involved in a number of sports during his five years at Rongotai College but his main sport has been Water Polo. Congratulations Harry!
On Monday 6 September, the Prime Minister announced that schools will be able to open for ALL students from Thursday 9 September.
